About National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualifications
NEBOSH offers a comprehensive range of globally-recognised qualifications. These meet the health, safety and environmental management needs of places of work.
Courses leading to NEBOSH qualifications attract around 50,000 candidates in over 120 countries annually. Over 600 course providers around the world offer NEBOSH qualifications.
Professionally qualified staff and external examiners set NEBOSH examinations. In addition, a Qualification and Technical Council oversees their technical standards. Council representatives come from national institutions.
NEBOSH’s certificate-level qualifications give a good foundation in health and safety. This qualification is especially relevant for managers, supervisors and staff who have health and safety among their daily responsibilities.
NEBOSH also offers qualifications for professional health and safety advisors and environmental practitioners. Finally, the University of Hull, in partnership with NEBOSH, offers Masters Degrees by distance learning in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management subjects.
