Artist Commission Irish Photo Network

The Irish Photo Network partners has announced an exciting €5000 commission to support the development of new work reflecting on the important themes of AI, Climate Action and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. We are specifically inviting artists from diverse backgrounds to apply for the commission.

As a bursary for the commissioned artist, it provides targeted support for underrepresented artistic voices, a growing segment of the Irish population, north and south. In addition, the partner organisations will offer a programme of mentorship as part of our ongoing commitment to professional development and skill-sharing across the photography sector.

Applicants will be invited to submit an artist’s biography, a detailed proposal for the work they want to undertake, and images from existing projects to support their application. Submissions will be reviewed by the network partners and a winner chosen from the shortlist.
