Autumn Open Days in WIT take place in the Arena on Friday and Saturday 22nd & 23rd November, 9-2pm. For your chance to see all that Waterford Institute of Technology has to offer you, come along to one of the Autumn Open Days and chat with members of the WIT team in person.
The event focuses on undergraduate entry for September 2020 but also showcases the opportunities for postgraduate learning and research and flexible study through their School of Lifelong Learning & Education.
CAO Undergraduate
The institute has 70 CAO courses across a range of disciplines including, business, engineering, and architecture, sports and nursing, law, social sciences, arts and psychology, the creative & performing arts, languages, tourism and hospitality, science and computing. WIT’s Autumn Open Days include presentations on all CAO courses, including new courses for 2020, as well as the opportunity to experience what it would be like to study on those courses and talk to lecturers directly. These events are mainly aimed at 6th Year Leaving Certificate students, their parents and guidance counsellors, but WIT also welcome 5th years and anyone considering college in September 2020.
Postgraduate opportunities
The Institute has long had an impressive portfolio of postgraduate programmes with more than 50 taught Masters and postgrad programmes to choose from. For an up-to-date listing of options, visit the postgrad programmes webpage.
Flexible learning opportunities
The institute offers over 50 flexible and part-time programmes, in addition to the Springboard portfolio. WIT’s Lifelong Learning team will be at the Autumn Open events to discuss opportunities with anyone interested in reskilling or upskilling in a more flexible way as well as with employers who would like to discuss bespoke programme development.
