Cyber Security Summer Camp

IT Sligo are running an online Cyber Security Summer Camp in conjunction with HEA and Cyber Ireland, to introduce Cyber Security topics to second-level students from TY, 5th year and 6th year classes.

The week-long camp is set to take place 21st June –  25th June from 10am until 1pm.

Cyber Security Summer Camp

This introductory Online Summer Camp features a range of topics including:

  • Cryptography
  • Network Security
  • Information Privacy
  • Web Application Security

The camp will consist of a mixture of online tutorials, exercises and challenges to practice your skills on.

The camp is open to all beginner students who wish to learn about Cyber Security. This camp assumes no prior experience!

Camp Details:

The camp will be run over Microsoft Teams, which will meet at 10am and introduce the difference topics. The students will then have access to an online platform where they can test out the new skills acquired and complete challenges. The camp and the online platform will involve no cost and will be free to use. The final day (Friday)  will have a number of challenges which will amalgamate all the skills you have acquired during the week.
