ICOS Focus Group on COVID-19 Impact on International Students
The online focus group follows on from ICOS’ COVID-19 International Student Survey which was carried out in May 2021. The purpose of both the focus group and survey is to understand the problems that international students have faced during the pandemic.
ICOS aims to use the information collected in the survey and focus groups as a basis to research ways to help address the problems that students have encountered and provide recommendations.
ICOS was founded in 1970 and its offices are based in Dublin on the Morehampton Road.
ICOS collaborate with its members, student organisations and government agencies to ensure that international education policy and practice in Ireland is quality-driven and remains firmly focused on the educational and social needs of all students.
ICOS promotes the rights and welfare of international students who choose Ireland as a study destination, and support staff in colleges who work with them.
