The EDTL project aims to “crowd-source your vision for learning in a post-Covid environment. This is not about the journey, how we will get there, or what needs to be done – it’s about the destination. We challenge you to project yourself into the post-pandemic future and imagine your ideal learning experience.
We want you to use your remote learning and assessment experiences to help us create a better/brighter future for third-level education in Ireland. We want to hear everyone’s voices, no matter how big or small.
We want to imagine a future that caters for every student in Ireland, where no one is left behind.”

The EDTL project is a 3 year project, which is funded through the HEA’s Innovation and Transformation Programme, is aimed at enhancing the digital attributes and educational experiences of Irish university students through enabling the mainstreamed and integrated use of digital technologies across the teaching and learning process. The project aims to mainstream digital in teaching and learning activities in Irish Universities, by addressing the professional development of all who teach or support teaching and learning.
In the context of Covid-19, the project has re-focused to support a move to a more blended approach to teaching and learning in the academic year 2020/21, while adhering to the four project pillars.
