Think you know Mary Immaculate College?

Think again and take a closer look during the MIC October Open Days.

Did you know, as well as Level 8 degrees in Liberal Arts, Psychology, and Education, Mary Immaculate College’s (MIC) newest programme offering includes a BA in Drama and English and a BA in English Language and Literature? Did you know, along with numerous study options, MIC campuses in Limerick and Thurles also provide a sense of belonging and great student scenes? And excellent College services mean students are supported throughout their studies.

Interested in finding out more? If you are a leaving certificate student thinking about your CAO choices or a mature student considering returning to college, the MIC October Open Days, on Thursday 17 October (9am-2pm) and Friday 18 October (9am-1pm), are for you.

Event highlights include live programme talks in which College experts will deliver insightful and informative presentations on each programme at multiple times each day, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about the unique aspects of MIC’s degrees. Campus tours, led by current MIC students, will take place on a rolling basis. The students will give attendees an insight into what it’s really like to study at MIC and will be happy to answer any questions prospective students have. In addition, there will be an array of information stands where attendees can get all the important information they need on accommodation, access routes, disability support, fees and grants, scholarships, work placement, Erasmus, clubs and societies, and much more.

First year Bachelor of Education (International) – Primary Teaching student, Laia Rose Keogh says of her experience of MIC’s Open Days, “I came down from Louth. It was really great to see the campus. The Open Day can really influence your decision when you actually see the campus and meet the people. If you do start at MIC having attended the Open Day it makes it so much easier to navigate the campus and find your way around.’
