MicroCreds, together with the Irish Universities Association (IUA) are hosting MicroNet Inaugural Peer Learning Forum on 14th Dec at 11am. This online peer learning forum will provide opportunities to explore transnational mobility and recognition for micro-credentials in a European Higher Education context.
MicroNet Inaugural Peer Learning Forum
MicroNet is a European transnational peer support and learning network for university micro-credentials, comprising an innovative and actively change-making higher education consortia, led by the IUA. MicroNet is a 3-year project funded through to 2025 by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme (ERASMUS).
The MicroNet Consortium is comprised of the Irish Universities Association, MicroCreds, the European University Association (EUA), Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC) and the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU).
The event will be chaired by Dr Lynn Ramsey, Director of MicroCreds at IUA, who will provide an overview of the MicroCreds project and work being done in our partner universities.
The opening address will be delivered by Keith Moynes, Head of Higher Education Policy Division, Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Keith will offer an overview of micro-credentials and lifelong learning in an Irish context.

This online event is open to all working in micro-credentials and lifelong learning but booking is essential.
