Online Diploma In Leadership at DBS

Consequently the new DBS Online Diploma in Leadership has been designed to help existing or aspiring managers to transition successfully. The course is taught in recorded weekly scheduled classes, using a cloud based app that works on any device. Students who complete the Diploma in Leadership should be able to:

Course Content

• Personal Leadership – This module focuses on managing ourselves as leaders, self-awareness and resilience. It also covers the importance of work-life balance and personal well being.
• Shared Vision and Strategy – This module addresses the importance of creating a shared vision and a strategy that is implementable.
• Leading a high performing team – The content for this module includes team motivation, setting goals, delegation and talent management
• Collaboration and building relationships – The identification and management of stakeholders is the focus of this module, in addition there are best practice techniques for managing Meetings, and Workshops.
• Communication Techniques – The focus for this module is on communication best practices, business storytelling, negotiations and conflict resolution.
• Change Management – This module considers change management from a leader’s perspective, including preparing, managing and embedding change.
• Leadership challenges – The purpose of this module is to review specific leadership challenges including Problem Solving and Decision Making
• Action Plan – The objective of this module is to develop individual career developments plans in terms of goals and actions.

The DBS Online Diploma in Leadership will be run wholly online including workshops, tutorials and programme assessment.
