OTC Important Upcoming Dates – Social Care, Management and FET Courses

 

Social Care course deadlines/details:

 

May 20th: BA in Social Care  2024-25– 3 Years – QQI Level 7, CORU approved, Now open for applications, €5,296 for Year 1, plus €95 application Fee – starts Sept. 16th, 2024.

 

Please note: An Informal Interviews/Information Day will take place in-person on May 24th

in Dublin from 10am – 4pm for the first tranche of BA in Social Care applications.

Aug 26th: BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies (Disability Service Management) – 1 Year add-on programme. Now open for applications, QQI Level 8, €5,296 plus €95 application fee, Starts Sept. 16th, 2024.

 

Apply now: Cert in Autism, Wellbeing and Positive Behaviour Supports 12 weeks, QQI Level 7 Special Purpose Award, €995, starts Autumn 2024

 

Apply now: Certificate in Supported Employment – 12 weeks, QQI Level 7 Special Purpose Award, €1,055, starts Autumn 2024

 

Apply now: Cert in Empowerment and Advocacy – 8 weeks, QQI Level 6, €395, Starts Autumn 2024

 

Management course deadlines:

 

June 30th: Certificate in Applied Management (Human Services) – One Year, Level 6, €2,538 – Starts Autumn, 2024

Apr 22nd: Certificate in Key Management Skills – 6 weeks, QQI, Level 6, €395 – ‘Fast track’ management CPD module – starts April 29th, 2024

 

FET:

Apply Now: Certificate in Training and Development – 12 weeks, QQI, Level 6 Special Purpose Award, €740 (or €399 per module) – Starts Autumn 2024

The Open Training College

The Open Training College (OTC) offers courses in social care, management and continuing professional development. Courses at the OTC include applied management, professional social care (CORU approved, Level 7), applied social studies/disability service management (Level 8), intellectual disability practice (Level 5) and shorter CPD courses (Levels 5-7 and OTC certification through bespoke training). The College provides accredited training courses and consultancy services to the human services and non-profit sectors.
