The QQI is currently developing quality assurance guidelines for online learning programmes. When developed these guidelines will assist providers to build quality assurance policies and procedures for the design, development, delivery, and assessment of fully online programmes.
QQI is the state agency responsible for promoting the quality, integrity and reputation of Ireland’s further and higher education system.
QQI Guidelines for Online Learning & Webinar
The QQI is now consulting widely with stakeholders and will host a webinar on Tuesday 11th October at 2.30 to which ILTA members are invited. The registration link for the Teams based webinar is here and can be forwarded to members.
If you have any suggestions for what should be included in the QA guidelines for fully online programmes you can submit them via online survey form
For reference: QA Guidelines for Blended Learning. These guidelines will be extended to include fully online programmes and so form the base and core of the new guidelines.
