The latest webinar in Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI) ‘s Unlocking Knowledge Transfer series is ‘Tackling Climate Change with Irish Research’ will take place on Tuesday, February 2nd, 11am.
In this February webinar, you will hear how R&D plays a key role in Ireland’s response to climate change. The panelists will discuss how green businesses can access relevant expertise from within the Irish research system and potential State funding supports available to support R&D activities.
Prof. Brian Ó Gallachóir will outline the important role of R&D in addressing climate action. Trish Murphy will give an example of how engaging Irish academic expertise has played a role in alleviating future flood damage in Donegal.
Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI) is the national office that helps business to benefit from access to Irish expertise and technology by making it simple to connect and engage with the research base in Ireland.
KTI takes a national perspective on the knowledge transfer (KT) system in Ireland. KTI works with business, investors, universities, Institutes of Technology, State research organisations, research funders and government agencies to maximise State funded technology, ideas and expertise getting into the hands of business to drive innovation.
