The Law Society of Ireland Launch has launched its free Massive Open
Online Course on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG).
This year’s MOOC will provide participants with a comprehensive guide to the evolving legal landscape of ESG, a detailed examination of ESG reporting obligations, together with an overview of common sustainability principles and frameworks, and a focused view of the impact on various sectors and industries.

What is a MOOC?
A MOOC is a free online course that is open to all and specifically designed for large numbers to participate. To date, the Diploma Centre’s MOOCs have attracted over 27,000 participants from over 85 countries since they first launched in 2014. Such courses feature online recorded and streamed presentations, together with interactive discussion forums that allow participants to engage directly with our expert presenters.
Who should attend?
This course is open to everyone and anyone who has a general interest in learning more about environmental, social and governance developments. It will be of particular interest to legal professionals, trainees, barristers, students and to those involved in the ESG spheres, either in a professional or personal capacity. We also warmly welcome participants from all walks of life who have an interest in learning more about ESG and the impact the legislative changes will have on individuals, businesses, and wider society.
