Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) has announced two short online Music courses. The modules are suitable for music enthusiasts and as professional development for music teachers and will run online from January 2021.
“If you are ready to follow your passions and embrace a new challenge in 2021, we have two online music courses that may be of interest to you,” says Dr Hazel Farrell course leader on WIT’s honours Music degree.
Registration is now open for Western Art Music and Keyboard Skills. Both 5-credit modules will be delivered fully online in a flexible and accessible format, allowing people to learn from the comfort of their own environment.
These modules are suitable for music enthusiasts, professional development for music teachers, and as a part requirement for Teaching Council registration. They are delivered over 12 weeks starting on the last week of January.
“We are delighted to be able to offer these great courses and reach out to the wider community of music lovers,” adds Dr Farrell.
These courses are among a range of part-time and flexible courses available to start in January at WIT. In addition to the part-time courses listed below there are a further range of funded short courses in Science, Education, Computing and Business & Administration which are fully funded for unemployed / PUP / returners and 90% funded for employed / recent graduates.
