About the course
The Online Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials is an eight-month innovative training programme for those wishing to pursue a career in clinical research. It aims to develop employment-ready experts, who will implement clinical research programmes to the highest ethical, regulatory and scientific standards.
Students on the programme will earn 30 ECTS credits through the completion of three modules: Clinical Trials, Biostatistics & Data Management and Clinical Trial Management. Graduates will be industry-ready, internationally mobile and adequately skilled to pursue clinical research careers.
This innovative training programme in Clinical Trials is delivered entirely using a virtual learning environment. Lecture content and reading materials are made available weekly. Students can progress through this highly interactive course at a pace that fits in with their work and commitments.
The course is starting the 27th of January. Applications open until the 22nd of January.
About UCD CRC
The UCD Clinical Research Centre (UCD CRC) is an academic led, multi-site centre supporting clinical and translational research. It operates under a single governance structure within the UCD School of Medicine and the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences.
The UCD CRC is at the core of the Health research and innovation strategy and provides a focal point for collaborative, multidisciplinary patient-focused research. The centre links the clinical community to core university research institutes including the UCD Conway Institute, Systems Biology Ireland and the UCD Charles Institute of Dermatology.
Over the last 5 years, the UCD CRC has developed a comprehensive taught graduate programme including an MSc in Clinical and Translational Research and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials This exciting education initiative is training the next generation of investigators and research professionals.
