Have you always wanted to understand how the paintings and drawings of artists throughout history have been created? Are you a practicing artist, graphic designer, illustrator, fashion designer or architect who wants to further develop your skills in the area or color, drawing or painting? Are you someone who used to make art, is tired of being in front of a computer and seriously wants to nourish your artistic side again?

We host daytime and evening classes that can be taken intensively if visiting Ireland from abroad or over a long period if you live in Dublin city and along the East coast of Ireland. These classes are during the day and evening to suit different timetables for students and professionals. The classes work in an incremental manner and are individual to each clients progress and artistic interests.

In the studio you will learn by direct demonstration from the teacher – in a systematic way and over a period of time – how to paint flesh, landscape and abstraction. The teaching philosophy is as it was in the traditional ateliers of Europe of the 1500-1900’s with one key difference: the studio takes all the techniques from the Renaissance, the French and Venetian schools, Impressionism, Expressionism and present day painting and study these as one.
