Courses By Seminar
Although a’ seminar’ can mean a course with different speakers at each class, they can also mean a small, discussion-based courses. In a seminar course, students do assigned reading and then can discuss the ideas they’ve read. Advanced material in many subjects, especially the humanities, cries out for discussion in depth. On a seminar course, you can explore ideas and learn why they’re important to the subject at hand. Seminar courses are often cited by students as the most meaningful and transformative of their college career.
