QQI Certificate in Business Studies (5M2102) – NFQ Level 5

This innovative course offers students the opportunity to develop their understanding of current global development issues and challenges.. It provides students with the theory and practical skills for a career in the development sector working in non-governmental agencies or voluntary agencies.

Ireland’s Aid is delivered through the government aid programme, Irish Aid, as well as through many non-government organisations such as GOAL, Trocaire, Self-Help Africa and Concern. Graduates of ths course will be well-equipped to work in global development agencies and organisations in the areas of fundraising, publicity, advocacy and development.

The course is designed for both the school-leaver and the adult learner who has an interest in pursuing a career or further studies in global development.
