ITEC Level 5 Diploma in Reflexology Treatments

Pyramid Holistic Training Centre delivers the highest level of training and is highly regarded in the industry for our ITEC Level 5 Diploma in Reflexology Treatments.

We have been in the industry since 2006 and we are a leading award-winning therapy training centre in Ireland. We recently extended to Dublin offering our ITEC reflexology course.

All Diploma Courses taught at Pyramid Holistic Centre are fully accredited by the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). Our Reflexology training course is intended for those who wish to gain a recognised professional qualification in an internationally recognised qualification (ITEC) in order to practice in Ireland and the world as a professional Reflexologist.

Our courses are industry recognised and can help you towards your educational and career goals. We deliver thorough, hands-on training from the start. Each step is explained and demonstrated, then you get to practice under the tutors’ support.

Case studies are required to be completed for this award. The case studies ensure that a variety of clients must be consulted and treated and the outcomes of the treatments must be documented in order to gain experience of working with a variety of clients and conditions whilst you are still under the supervision and guidance of the college

Other modules covered are a Mental Health and Energy awareness Module, along with the infectious disease prevention module.

Duration:

This course will be 2 days per month for 8 months.

Anatomy & Physiology are also covered along with the Professional Business awareness module

The Course Covers the following:

History, theories and philosophies of Reflexology and its origins, Code of practice and Ethics for Reflexologists, The structure of the foot and ankle, Benefits of Reflexology, Methods of consultation, Contraindications in Reflexology, Disorders and conditions of the feet and hands, Clients reactions to treatments, Aftercare advice, Referral procedures.

THE QUALIFICATION IS SUITABLE FOR

• Anyone who wishes to train as a therapist and work in the complementary field.
• Any adult returning to education with a desire to work as a Reflexologist therapist.
• Anyone already working as a nurse or career who may wish to become a Reflexologist therapist

Examinations:

During the Reflexology Diploma course, we will prepare you for your final examinations and will conclude the course with a mock examination from which we will be able to offer you guidance. Upon satisfactory completion of this mock examination, you will be eligible to sit the ITEC Level 5 Diploma in Reflexology Treatments. Your technical skills and treatment techniques will be assessed via a practical examination with an external ITEC examiner. Documentary evidence of case studies/treatments will also be required.

We also recommend that students do extra hours of home study.

TRAINING IN REFLEXOLOGY

This can lead to a wonderful new career. As a practitioner of Reflexology, you will be able to work in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, sports centres, gyms, natural health centres or even on luxury cruise liners! Alternatively, you may choose to branch out independently by working from home or visiting clients in their own homes.
