Who is this course designed for?
We tend to say that this is a really useful course for anyone who is interested in project management.
Although some background knowledge of project management is always helpful, it’s not necessary. This course is a great immersive introduction for beginners.
Many experienced project managers attend this training to get a fresh perspective on how they are running projects and to find ways to improve their skills.
Skills Only Version
If you would like to attend this course, but aren’t interested in getting certified, we do offer a “skills only” version named “Project Management Fundamentals”.
This takes place alongside Days 1 – 3 of the QQI Project Management course. You’ll cover most of the content listed above, aside from the managing project teams module.
How to Get Certified
For those working towards the QQI Certification, there are 4 steps:
Step 1: Training
Attend our 4-day QQI Project Management Course. During this time, your trainer will go through the detailed assessment brief we provide you with and give you tips on how to approach your assessment work.
Step 2: Assessment Work & Further Learning
In the 8 weeks following training, you’ll complete your assessment work. Further self-led learning and study combines nicely with the assessment work.
Step 3: Submission of Work & Grading
Once you submit your work, it must go through a grading process, which includes several quality checks to ensure you get the fairest grade possible.
Step 4: Provisional Grade & Certification
Depending on what date you submit your assessment, you will usually receive your provisional grade within a month and your physical certification within 3 months.
