Russian is one of the six official languages of the United Nations and the eighth-most spoken in the world, with more than 150 million native speakers. Beyond the language, Russia has rich history and cultural and literary heritage.
The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies within the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies is running language and culture courses in Russian at the Beginners, Lower Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced levels.

| Course Duration | Courses run for 22 weeks, spread over two academic terms – Michaelmas (starting September) and Hillary (starting January). All classes take place in-person on Trinity's central campus. |
| Course Time | Beginners: Tuesdays 7pm-9pm. Lower Intermediate: Wednesdays 7pm-9pm. Intermediate/Advanced: Thursdays 7pm-9pm. |
| Course Fee | €660 is the full-year rate. Payment by instalments of €350 per term is also possible. This fee is strictly non-refundable once the course has commenced. |
| Entry Requirements | Intakes of new students will not be available from January during the Hillary term unless applicants have the necessary language levels to join a continuing group. |
