This course prepares students for a rewarding career in software development. The core aim of the course is to impart the expertise necessary to design, develop and maintain software. Students undertake work experience in order to develop their skills in the IT area.

5 passes in the Leaving Certificate to include Maths and English or a Distinction in Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. Foundation Level Maths is not accepted as part of the minimum entry requirements. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. All entry is subject to interview.
